Meet beautiful brindle girl Effie! At just 1.5 years old, this sweet pittie came to us from local animal control and is so ready to leave shelter life behind for a forever home of her own. Effie can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once she feels safe, her adorable personality starts to shine — and so does that amazing smile of hers! This girl absolutely lights up when she’s happy. She gets along great with other dogs and has been very gentle with cats as well. Because she can be timid at first, Effie would do best with older children who can respect her space and allow her time to settle in at her own pace. With patience, love, and a little reassurance, Effie is going to make an incredibly loyal companion. She’s just looking for someone willing to show her that the world can be a safe and loving place.
