About Tamatoa
Start your journey together! Apply now. Tamatoa, also known as "Tuesday," is a 2 to 3 year old brindle pit mix with a heart as big as his love for life. After being adopted as a puppy and later returning to his rescue due to his owner's health issues, Tuesday has thrived in his foster home, growing into a loyal, playful, and eager-to-learn companion. Since he’s responded best to Tuesday, that’s the name he goes by! This medium energy boy blends play with relaxation perfectly. Whether it’s training, playtime, or a fun sniffing adventure, Tuesday enjoys being active but is just as happy curling up for a nap on the couch once the action winds down. He already knows an impressive list of commands, is crate trained, and his love for training makes him a joy to work with. Tuesday gets along well with other dogs when introduced properly and loves people of all ages, including kids. Given his high prey drive, a cat-free home is best for him. He’s working on curbing his excitement jumps, but his eagerness to please makes him a quick learner. In his downtime, you’ll find Tuesday indulging in a bone, tearing up toys, or helping out with whatever you’re doing. He loves being part of daily life and has made great progress in overcoming his anxiety, showing just how determined he is to be the best dog possible. If you’re searching for a loyal companion to fill your home with joy, playfulness, and love, Tuesday could be your perfect match. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
