Barkley is a playful and affectionate Chihuahua/Dachshund mix puppy who loves attention and being around people. He enjoys the company of other dogs and has a fun, social personality that shines more every day. Barkley would do best in a home with another dog or a family where he will have companionship and plenty of love. When Barkley first came to our rescue, he was extremely scared and timid. He would cry out when touched and was unsure of the world around him. Watching his transformation has been incredible. Now, this sweet boy simply wants love, comfort, and to be close to his people. Barkley is learning what it means to feel safe and cared for, and he is ready to find a forever home that will continue showing him the love he deserves.
