On December 8, Farah was first seen in Southeast Bakersfield, CA, and later spotted running through fields near Hoskings and Colony, but she remained difficult to catch. In February, a photo of her was shared on Facebook, in the same area and we spotted her hiding in the tall grass. After months of braving the cold weather near busy highways, we knew we had to act quickly to ensure her safety. With a solid plan in place, we were finally able to rescue Farah from a potentially grim outcome. Farah is sociable with other dogs and has a playful spirit. After spending many months alone, she is gradually learning to trust people again, revealing her affectionate nature when she feels secure. Farah is eagerly awaiting her forever home, where she can thrive and share her love.
