Meet Frankie Frankie is a sweet 10-month-old yellow Lab mix with a soft heart, a puppy spirit, and so much love to give. At about 40 lbs, Frankie is still very much a growing boy playful, affectionate, and learning how to navigate the world. Like many young dogs, he exhibits typical puppy behaviors and will benefit from continued training, structure, exercise, and consistency as he grows into the wonderful companion he has every potential to be. Frankie can be a little shy when meeting new people. If you stand over him or rush the introduction, he may back away at first. But when you get down on his level and give him a little time, his whole demeanor changes. He will approach, lean in for scratches, and start showing you the loving, cuddly boy underneath. Frankie especially loves one of our kennel managers and absolutely lights up when he visits offering his paws, soaking up attention, and showing the sweet, affectionate side that comes out once he knows he can trust you. Its a beautiful glimpse of the connected, loving companion Frankie can become with a family willing to give him patience, guidance, and a chance to feel secure. Frankie is good with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a friendly canine companion or regular dog friends to help build his confidence and burn off some puppy energy.
