Kolton returned to rescue this spring after being adopted as a puppy in 2021. Heās always been a soft, sensitive soul who prefers quiet routines and familiar faces over bustling homes and big gatherings. Koltonās the dog whoāll happily settle in for a cozy night at home, ignoring the outside world from the comfort of the sofa. He struggled adjusting to the energetic arrival of a new baby, so heās looking for a calm, predictable home with older teens or adults onlyāsomething that matches his introverted nature. Kolton bonds deeply with his people, offering gentle affection and a loyal presence once he feels secure. He enjoys being part of the household without demanding to be the center of attention. Kolton is fully housebroken, easy to live with, and generally gets along with cats. When it comes to dogs, however, heās usually uneasyāespecially with dogs he has to live with day-to-dayāso heās best as the only dog in the household.
