About Lewis
Lewis is a 6-year-old female German Shorthaired Pointer who’s looking for a new family in Fayetteville, AR. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Lewis was originally purchased as a puppy from a Kansas farmer and has grown up around children, spending her days playing inside and out with the kids. She’s reliably house trained, crate trained, and has started leash training. A solid wooden fence keeps her contained well. She has food aggression issues, so she’s best placed with no children under 8 and shouldn’t be housed with other guard-type dogs. She does not do well with cats. While she’s generally good with kids and some female dogs, her adopter should be mindful of her boundaries and history. Lewis's family is relocating due to military orders and can't bring her along, so she’s ready for a new chapter. Lewis was born on January 1st, so she’s a Capricorn—known for their loyalty and steadiness. Your new best friend is just one click away.
