About Doc
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Doc, a wonderful 6-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer who is currently looking for his forever home in southeast Arkansas. Doc is neutered, microchipped, and ready to become someone's special companion. He is full of energy and absolutely loves to run and play outdoors in his backyard, making him a great choice for an active household with secure fencing. Doc is house and potty trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. He knows commands like sit and stay, showing just how smart he is! Doc does best as the only pet in the home, as he does not get along with other dogs or cats. Due to some food aggression, he isn't recommended for families with young children, though he has done well with kids over six years old per his previous owners. He also prefers not to be disturbed while sleeping, so a family that understands and respects his boundaries will be the best fit. He enjoys plenty of playtime outside and sleeps indoors at night in his kennel. Doc would thrive in a loving, structured home where he can be your one and only loyal friend. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
