Dog friendly: With a calm dog and slow introductions Kid friendly: Experienced adult only home Special needs: None 💙GETTING TO KNOW ME Frankie, Frankie, Frankie-Mr. Blue Eyes. What a handsome gent you are. Frankie is one big, in-your-face ragdoll. Handsome does not begin to describe his striking bicolor markings, the adorable pink nose and the Sinatra baby blue eyes. He celebrated his sixth birthday as this is being written and is acting like a kitten all over again. Frankie spent much of his prior adult life working. Those days are over and he really enjoys living the life of luxury. Wherever you are, he will be too. He demands pets and play time. On your computer? Well, expect him to take exception, block your view with his hunky 13.5-pound body, and rub his face all over yours. He will at times demand your lap, twirl between your legs, and find that your toes make excellent toys. Oooops! Frankie needs an adult only home because he is intense. He can get a little nippy and be a bit of a bully with other cats. Little people (as in children) might become afraid or egg him on into inappropriate behavior. Frankie is not dangerous. He is intense. He has learned to be dominant with other cats both male and female. He does not back down. Although there may be some cats that can keep up, we want everyone to be happy. Besides, Frankie is enough for everyone. We believe Frankie would do well with a calm, confident, respectful dog. He would thrive in a home where people are around often. Someone with experience handling intense cats, who can read feline body language and notice his signals, will be a great match for Frankie. His coat is an easy groom. Be sure to have a good metal grooming comb like Chris Christensen’s grooming line. Do not brush him unless you want to break off fur. He is magnificent for a bath should you ever need to bathe him. Literally, he just sat there! Frankie is a good eater (do we need to remind you he is 13.5 pounds?). Twice daily meals of Honest Kitchen dehydrated food along with a sampling of kibble for snacks, are the standard for him. He has perfect litterbox habits using boxes that are large and open with clumping unscented litter. 💙VETTING PROVIDED Frankie is neutered, has been examined by a veterinarian, and is ready for adoption. He is vaccinated, has tested negative for FIV and FeLV, has had a dental cleaning with extractions, treated for an ear infection and is microchipped. His medical records will be provided once the adoption is complete. 💙LOCATION AND ADOPTION Frankie is being fostered in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. His adoption fee is $400. PurrHarmony, Inc. does not transport or ship cats, but long-distance adopters are welcome. Adopters must travel either to the foster home or to the airport nearest the foster home, at the foster parent’s discretion. Pickup must be within two weeks of approved adoption.
