SPECIFICS Purebred Ragdoll; 6 years old; spayed female; seal bicolor ragdoll; claws intact; blue eyes; eight pounds. Cat friendly: coexists happily, would also be fine as a single Dog friendly: With a calm dog and slow introductions Kid friendly: Ages 8 and up Special needs: None GETTING TO KNOW ME Ms. Halle—oh sweetie, you are so beautiful and such a good girl. Halle is a cool, calm and delightful female who minds her own business in a room with her other ragdoll female friends. She is soft and velvety with her gorgeous brown and white coat and the bluest of eyes. Typically quiet, she enjoys hanging out on a cat tree, watching the trees, birds and life outside. She looks so cute, lounging in her leopard print pop up tent too. Halle is the middle child of a larger group of ragdolls in care. She is not pushy and does not feel the need to be first in line. Often, she lets the others settle into their meal and will saunter over to eat once the feeding frenzy is calm. She will take a little time to settle in and perhaps start out a bit shy at the beginning. Can not blame a girl for wanting to feel safe and secure before she totally trusts. It is not unusual for her to throw herself over for some body pets and a light combing. Please do comb versus brush her. A quality metal comb like Chris Christensen’s grooming combs will keep her mat free and remove any loose fur. A brush often will not get down through the coat and will break off fur. With time and appropriate slow introductions, Halle does fine with friendly cats. She probably would do fine with a respectful dog. Children who are old enough to respect her needs, who have been taught appropriate handling skills and who are supervised, would enjoy playing with her. Mealtime is an occasion she enjoys. Twice daily meals of Honest Kitchen dehydrated food along with a sampling of kibble for snacks, are the standard for her. She has perfect litterbox habits sharing boxes that are large and open with clumping unscented litter. VETTING PROVIDED Halle is spayed, has been examined by a veterinarian, and is ready for adoption. She is vaccinated, has tested negative for FIV and FeLV, has had a dental cleaning with extractions, treated for an ear infection and is microchipped. Her medical records will be provided once the adoption is complete. LOCATION AND ADOPTION Halle is being fostered in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Her adoption fee is $400. PurrHarmony, Inc. does not transport or ship cats, but long-distance adopters are welcome. Adopters must travel either to the foster home or to the airport nearest the foster home, at the foster parent’s discretion. Pickup must be within two weeks of approved adoption.
