About Onyx

Meet Onyx — a 6-year-old chunky sweetheart with endless love to give. 🖤 Onyx always looks a little surprised, but that is just her face (and we love it). Onyx is the definition of an easygoing, lovable companion. Her favorite thing in the world is being carried over your shoulder like a little sack of potatoes, perfectly content just hanging out close to her people. She’s a true lap cat at heart and firmly believes that wherever you are, she should be too. This girl has an amazing personality and adapts beautifully to just about any home. Onyx gets along wonderfully with cats, dogs, and even small children. She has lived in a busy household with multiple pets and takes it all in stride. Calm, social, and affectionate, she fits in almost anywhere. Onyx also has a few favorite hobbies: watching “Cat TV,” snacking whenever possible, and enjoying catnip or string toys during her playful moments. While she’s definitely more cuddle bug than athlete these days, she still has a fun, silly side that shines through during playtime. Food motivated, affectionate, and incredibly social, Onyx is the kind of cat who quickly becomes everyone’s favorite family member. If you’re looking for a loving companion who will happily curl up in your lap, follow you from room to room, and adore every member of the household, Onyx is your girl.
