About Stryder Tag

Stryder is a 1-year-old neutered male Bloodhound with a whole lot of goofy charm packed into his big 90-pound frame. He’s looking for an experienced owner who’s willing to invest in his training—Stryder could use some structured obedience work to help him grow into the gentle giant he wants to be. He’s made some canine friends at the shelter so far, but staff are still learning how he does with different dogs. Stryder isn’t yet house trained, so his adopter should be prepared for some patient teaching and adjustment time. Limited in-person applications will be accepted for Stryder, so if you’re ready to take on a big-hearted project, come meet him in Central Islip, NY. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
