About Daisy Mae
Meet Daisy Mae, a big-hearted Bloodhound born in June 2019 who’s been a steady presence and best friend to her late owner and fellow dog companion. Daisy Mae weighs in at roughly 112 pounds and sports a short, red-and-black coat. Her world’s turned upside down after losing her dad, and her mom now has to move—leaving Daisy in need of a new family. She’s used to dogs and does great with them, but cats aren’t her thing, so a cat-free home is the best fit. Daisy Mae hasn’t had experience with children and, given her size, that’s probably for the best. New people can make her a little shy, but she’ll come around with calm, patient introductions. Loud noises, especially thunderstorms, make her anxious. For now, her mom’s doing her best to keep Daisy out of a stressful kennel environment until the right adopter steps up. She’ll reward her people with devotion and a gentle spirit. Click apply to start the adoption process.
