At just 7 weeks old, he’s part Great Pyrenees, part Aussie, part Lab—growing up with soft blankets, full bellies, and the kind of pampering that every little stray deserves once luck finally turns around. He’s gentle by nature but never short on puppy confidence; he likes to explore, investigate every odd corner, and pose with his best tiny polar bear face every time someone points a camera his way. Astro came into rescue with his mom and siblings after a tough start in a rural part of Texas, but he’s quickly learning how good life can be once you’re loved and safe. He gets along with other dogs, cats, and children, making him an easy companion for most homes. He isn’t house trained yet, but at this age, he’s eager and ready to learn with a little patience. His mixed breed roots likely mean he’ll grow to a sturdy 60–70 lbs and carry all the smarts, loyalty, and affection you’d expect from his lineage.
