About Cowgirl
Cowgirl is a true southern sweetheart with a story that tugs at your heart. She’s a 5-year-old Great Pyrenees/Border Collie mix who came to rescue after raising her own handful of puppies—each one now happily adopted. Early on, Cowgirl was found to have congenital heart issues. Thanks to attentive medical care and a devoted foster mom, she’s stabilized on medication and is thriving in her foster home. These days, Cowgirl enjoys backyard zoomies, mealtime, and relaxing with the other dog in the house. She doesn’t mind the family cat and gets along beautifully with kids. Loyal to her human, Cowgirl likes to be close and will follow you from room to room. Her foster says she’s a gentle soul who sometimes snags a snack, but it’s hard to be upset with those bright eyes. Her lifespan isn’t guaranteed—she may have a couple years or a handful more—but she deserves every bit of happiness along the way. If you’re looking for a dog who will give you devotion and joy, Cowgirl is ready to meet you. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
