Meet Captain Kidd — the most outgoing of the trio and a true little adventurer at heart. Found roaming with his sisters Mary Read and Charlotte De Berry, Captain Kidd came to us in slightly worse condition and needed specialized surgery on his eyes. His eyelashes were rolled inward, causing irritation and discomfort, but he has now had a successful procedure and is healing beautifully. Once fully recovered, you won’t even be able to tell he ever needed surgery. Despite his rough start, Captain Kidd has never lost his joyful, affectionate spirit. He is the social butterfly of the group and absolutely loves people. One of his favorite things in the world is getting neck and chin rubs — he will happily lean in for more attention any chance he gets. We believe he is a Lab/St. Bernard mix, just like his sisters, and he carries that same sweetness and gentle nature, paired with an extra spark of confidence and charm. Captain Kidd is ready for a forever home where he can continue to heal, grow, and be loved the way he has always deserved. In return, he will bring joy, affection, and plenty of happy tail wags to his new family.
