Captain Kidd
AvailableCaptain Kidd is a young, medium-sized male Saint Bernard mix living in Chester, SC. He has been neutered and, despite some starting health challenges, has a cheerful and affectionate nature.
About Captain Kidd
Captain Kidd stands out as the most outgoing member among his siblings and isn’t shy about his adventurous side. He was found with his sisters, Mary Read and Charlotte De Berry, but arrived needing a bit more care after a rough patch and specialized surgery for his eyes. Thanks to diligent medical attention, he’s recovered from his inward-turning eyelashes, and soon there’ll be no sign of the issue. Throughout everything, Captain Kidd’s spirit never dimmed. This is a dog who meets the world with joy and enthusiasm. He thrives on human companionship, especially if it includes neck and chin rubs—he’ll nuzzle in for more every time. Captain Kidd is believed to be a Lab and St. Bernard mix, with the sweetness and gentle temperament that combination promises, but with an especially bold and cheerful personality. He’s looking for a home where he can keep healing and be loved as much as he deserves. In return, his new family will get plenty of affection and happy tail wags. Your new best friend is just one click away.
