About Nova
Nova is a young lab mix with a black and white coat who’s looking for stability after a rough start. She’s about 2 years old (born 10/17/23) and weighs around 40 lbs. Nova’s done well with crate and leash training, especially when structure is consistent. She gets along with other dogs and is friendly and playful once settled, though she can be reserved with new people at first. Nova loves attention and bonds quickly when given time to decompress. She’s already been through several homes—not for anything she did wrong, but due to circumstances out of her control and a poor fit with cats. Nova does not do well with cats, but she’s good with other dogs and children. She’s spayed, vaccination current, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Nova is overdue for some true consistency and a family who will stick by her. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
