About Tux
Tux is one of Trixie's puppies, rescued from a crowded local shelter alongside his mom. He's just about four weeks old and weighs a tiny 2 lbs right now. Tux is already showing his sweet nature and will probably reach about 15-25 lbs as an adult, based on his mom's size and mixed doxie/terrier heritage, though that's only an estimate since dad is unknown. He’ll be ready for his new family at around nine weeks, once he’s old enough for his neuter procedure and second round of vaccinations. Tux gets along with dogs, cats, and children, making him a good fit for a variety of homes. He isn’t house trained yet, as is typical for puppies his age, and will need a patient adopter willing to help him learn new routines and adapt to his new environment. All puppies from this rescue, including Tux, will be neutered before adoption and will have their age-appropriate vet care done. If you are interested in reserving Tux, applications are being accepted now, and approved adopters may place a deposit until he's ready for his forever home.
