About Pepper
Pepper needs a foster or adoptive home. He’s a gentle, somewhat shy Lab/Terrier mix who’s adjusting to change after being surrendered simply because his family had too many dogs. At 38 lbs, Pepper is a bit underweight and expected to fill out to roughly 45 lbs. He does well with other dogs and manages the leash and car rides without issues. Pepper gets along with cats and children too. He’s already neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm tested. Pepper would benefit from a calm home willing to give him a little time to build his confidence. Wags and Whiskers, an all-volunteer rescue, is currently caring for him in Grand Bay, AL.
