About Sadie Sue

Hi! I’m Sadie. I am a Chihuahua/Dashchund mix, approximately 5 years old, and weighing 19lbs. I was found as a stray and no one ever came for me, so the rescue did! I am such a sweet, happy girl and just love doing my own thing. I love to get scratches and belly rubs but only when I ask for them. I don’t like to be picked up, I’m super independent and like to do things on my own. I just need a fuzzy bed to sleep in and a physically fenced yard. I love being outside and just smelling everything. I don’t mind other calm dogs, hyper dogs aren’t really my jam. I like cats! Please no kids for me. I’m looking for a quiet home that will allow me to be myself! I will need patience as I adjust to a new home but I promise I’m so worth the wait! When I came to rescue I had a really bad ulcer on my right eye. It’s healing beautifully but that eye will need to be monitored going forward. Sadie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, current on heartworm preventative, and current on flea/tick preventative. If she sounds like a match for you, please please fill out an adoption application using the URL below: Bit.ly/WHASadoptionapplication Sadie’s adoption fee is $350. ***Please note, Willow Haven Animal Sanctuary is a foster based rescue.
