This lovable beagle/dachshund mix is an adult male of medium size, currently staying at Last Day Dog Rescue. He has been neutered and, despite being diagnosed with Cushing’s disease, is looking for a family willing to provide him the care he needs. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Meet Tanbo, also known as Snoop, a curious and playful pup looking for a new forever home after a return to rescue through no fault of his own. Snoop is inquisitive, loves treats, and will be your loyal sidekick in any food-related adventure, though he may try to sneak a sniff of your snacks. He has a blast playing with toys—hard chews are best since he’s an expert at shredding stuffed ones! Snoop enjoys daily walks and is leash trained, though he’s still working on pulling less. His excellent sniffing skills keep walks interesting, and after a stroll, he’ll happily curl up beside you on the couch, often burrowing under the covers for extra coziness. He can be vocal when meeting new people but settles in with a little time. Snoop likes other dogs but can be quite protective of his toys, so a single dog home may work best for him. He tends to chase cats and has displayed some signs of separation anxiety, so crate time is needed until he becomes more comfortable and secure. Recently diagnosed with Cushing’s disease, Snoop will need lifelong medication, but his loving spirit remains unchanged. When adopting from this rescue, all animals are microchipped for safety and ongoing identification.
