Toys are a must for him, but stuffed ones stand no chance; tougher chews keep the mess down and his jaws busy. Walks excite him and he likes to inspect every scent along the way, though he’s working on his leash manners and easing up on the pulling. After the world tour, he’ll settle in right beside you, even burrowing under the covers for a cozy nap. He’ll bark when strangers come around but can settle once he gets to know someone. Tanbo can co-exist with other dogs but prefers life as the only pup because he really doesn’t like sharing his prized toys. Cats sound like a bad idea—he’ll chase them. He may need some help building confidence about being left alone and crates are helping right now with that.
