Meet Flounder! Flounder is a chunky, 23 pound, 6 year old, male chihuahua, Flounder is quiet, laid back, and loving. He extremely loyal and will be obsessed with whoever his new family is. He gets along with other dogs and would probably be polite to cats, he would prefer a home without young kids. Flounder has a fresh dental and is just working on his weight. This boy is looking for a chill household where he gets lots of attention and is access to a lap at all times. Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet. ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
