Meet Rally. This 1-year-old Miniature Pinscher/Terrier mix weighs about 15 pounds and was rescued from a home with over 60 dogs. Because of her background, Rally was not properly socialized and the world can still feel overwhelming to her, so she is very timid and shy with people and will need time, patience, and consistency to learn that humans are safe and that life in a home is a good thing. She is most comfortable around other dogs and would benefit from living with a confident canine companion to help her build confidence. Rally may take time to trust and will need help learning the routines and expectations of home life, and because she is scared, she will be a flight risk so her future family must be diligent about keeping her safe and secure (closed doors and gates, secure leashes, etc.). She likes other dogs, can be cat tested if needed, and should go to a home without young children; older, responsible kids who understand her needs would be best.
