Bentley is a six-year-old English Bulldog who is in need of a new home. His family is traveling extensively for work and can no longer care for him. He’s incredibly friendly and loves being around people—if you’re looking for a dog that enjoys attention, affection, and being part of the family, he’ll fit right in. He loves to play but is also a professional nap expert and enjoys plenty of sleep (very on-brand for a bulldog). When it’s time to eat, don’t be surprised if he suddenly appears nearby—he definitely believes that if you’re eating, he should be too! He does great on both long and short car rides and is an excellent travel companion. Walks? He can be a little stubborn at times and may need some motivation to get moving, but once he gets going, he does just fine. One of his most impressive traits is how smart and loyal he is. If he ever got loose, he would simply run around the neighborhood and always make his way right back home to the porch. He’s never been prone to getting lost, which speaks to how connected he is to home. He also knows a fun command—tell him “give em paw” and he’ll happily hand over his paw. He absolutely loves head scratches, belly rubs, and soaking up affection from his people. He would do best with someone or a family that wants a loving, playful, laid-back companion who enjoys both fun moments and relaxing downtime.
