About Champs
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet Champs, a true sweetheart with a big, loving heart. Despite his tough beginnings—found alone with a chain and open wound—Champs never lost his gentle spirit and friendliness toward people and other dogs. His resilience and affectionate nature stand out, and he has proven himself to be incredibly smart and eager to please. Champs thrives when learning new things and is quick to master skills, currently working on his Canine Good Citizenship. Champs is high energy and would fit best in an active home, especially with teenagers or adults who have plenty of energy to play and provide a fun routine. He enjoys car rides and is ready to join in any adventure, making him a perfect match for an on-the-go family. While he gets along well with other dogs after a proper introduction, he can be excitable—making patience during introductions important. He appears very curious of cats and may want to chase if they run. Currently in boarding, Champs is looking for a foster or adopter ready to continue his training and give him the loving home he deserves. He's a loyal companion whose past hasn't dimmed his joy for life or his love for people and canine pals. Fun fact: Born under the sign of Gemini, Champs is as quick-witted and playful as his zodiac suggests! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
