We are excited to introduce Fitz, a 9-week-old male Chihuahua/Terrier mix currently weighing 3 lbs 14 oz. Fitz was part of an accidental litter in Stockton. Upon intake, the puppies were lethargic, malnourished, and suffering from vomiting and diarrhea. While they tested negative for Parvovirus, stool samples confirmed Giardia. After a 10-day course of antibiotics and proper nutrition in foster care, the puppies have recovered significantly. Fitz is one of the smaller puppies in the litter and possesses a terrier-like appearance. He is energetic, enjoys playing with toys, and cuddling with his human. Due to his initial quarantine period, he is not yet potty trained; however, he socializes well with his siblings. Regarding his medical status, Fitz has been microchipped, received DAPP vaccinations appropriate for his age, and has been dewormed and treated for fleas.
