Jillie is a sweet-natured Miniature Poodle, nine years young though youād never guess it from her energy. Sheās attached to her people and prefers someone whoās home most of the day. For short trips out, Jillie can settle quietly in her crate if you tell her to go to bed and cover her upāsheāll patiently wait but doesn't do well with long periods alone. Sheās spayed, vaccinated, and had a recent dental, so sheās feeling great and gaining a bit of healthy weight. Her daily meals center around Hills Kidney Care kibble with a tasty topper of canned food or chicken. Jillie gets along with other dogs in her foster home, but honestly, sheās happiest as your one and only. She ignores the cat, so as far as sheās concerned, felines are a non-issue. Inside, Jillie keeps tidy house manners, heading to the door when nature calls. She's good on a leash and is slowly figuring out a doggie doorāstill learning it won't bite her on the way in or out. Jillieās happiest pressed right up next to you on the couch or squeezed into your chair; sheāll also sleep in a crate, dog bed, or with you if invited. She reliably comes when called and knows āOFF.ā Sheās just learned āENOUGH,ā for those moments she gets a little too chatty over visitors. Once people are inside, she warms up fast. Car rides make her anxious, so she gets a bit of CBD oil before vet trips, which helps.
