Merlot is a small black Miniature Poodle with a curly coat whoās been making progress and learning new tricks during his stay in foster care. Heās funny, playful, and takes great joy in life. Social with other dogs, Merlotās play style can be a little rambunctious, so a tolerant canine companion is best if you have one. He knows how to sit, crates up easily, walks on a leash, and is growing more comfortable with groomingāthe key is patience and short sessions. Merlot blossoms with a gentle hand willing to support him through his quirks. He must have a fully fenced yardāno apartments will be consideredāand adopters must use a sturdy crate; wire or soft-sided crates are not allowed. The group is only considering homes in Western Washington and possibly Northern Oregon, so be sure to check if youāre eligible.
