Her love language is most definitely physical touch -- any opportunity she gets she will climb into your lap, lick your face, and nuzzle in. Flower is cuddly, silly, and at her best when she is near her person. Like many Chihuahua mixes, she is a little shadow and would do best with a pawrent who works from home and can keep her company most of the day. Flower loves walks, chew toys and belly rubs. She is very playful and generally a very happy pup. She likes to sit in high places, so you will often find her on the bed or couch pillows. She can jump surprisingly high and can stare out the window looking for squirrels for hours. She settles in easily for daytime naps and is eager to go on walks around the neighborhood. She isn't the most food driven but she eats her meals and will accept treats (eventually). Flower is happy with just a chew toy and comfy bed and can be encouraged through cuddles and scratches. Flower is leash trained and will walk next to you. Besides a morning wee on a pee pad, she knows to go potty outdoors. Flower would loooove to sleep next to her pawrent if possible. Because Flower has had negative experiences with other dogs (she was recently bitten by a coyote/large dog and left with several wounds and a fracture), she is naturally fearful of other dogs. She also can be fearful when she hears unfamiliar noises from outside. Flower will bark when she is intimidated and needs some training to be less reactive when she hears other dogs or noises. Flower would do best as the only dog in the household where she can get all the love and attention she deserves. It is so easy to fall in love with Flower. She is easy to care for and the best companion. Anyone would be lucky to have Flower in their lives.
