Meet Belinda — guessed to be a 2 yr old, soft-hearted Shar Pei mix, with the sweetest soul and the gentlest eyes. Belinda made a long journey from Mexico while pregnant, and after heartbreakingly losing her litter shortly after arriving, she’s ready for a fresh start filled with comfort, kindness, and love. Despite everything she’s been through, Belinda remains incredibly affectionate and trusting. She loves nothing more than curling up beside her people for snuggles and quiet companionship. She’s wonderful with kids, calm and easygoing in the home, and has a beautifully relaxed personality that makes her a comforting presence to be around. On walks, Belinda is chill on the leash and happiest when she can take her time enjoying a good sniff walk and exploring the world at her own pace. She can be selective about other dogs, so slow introductions and respectful canine companions are the best fit for her. Or she can be great as an only dog. Belinda has already shown so much resilience — now she just needs a family who will show her how loved she truly is.
