Lucy is a young chihuahua mix that came to us from a rescue partner in Mexico. She has a lively, affectionate and silly nature, but she is nervous at first with new people and in new environments. She bonds very quickly with her people and loves to wrestle and play with dogs. While it’s not a requirement, we do think Lucy would do well in a home with another confident dog to help show her the ropes. She’s doing great with her housebreaking and is in a foster home with multiple dogs of different sizes and getting along with everyone. Her likes include playing with toys, wrestling with friends and snuggling on the couch and she would be thrilled if you wanted to let her sleep in the bed. She would like a patient adopter that would help her feel comfortable in the world and keep her safe. She is treat motivated and bright and a compact size of about 10 lbs. It goes without saying that she is also extremely cute with her bat ears and shiny coat. She’s a gentle sweet and silly girl and we think she is a real prize!
