Meet Piper! Piper is a sweet and playful 8-week-old kitten with a fun-loving personality and endless curiosity. She loves chasing toys, wrestling with her siblings, and exploring every new corner she can find. Occasionally she will chase her own tail during playtime, which never fails to make everyone laugh. This adorable girl is affectionate, social, and full of kitten charm. After a busy day of adventures, Piper is happy to settle in for cuddles and a cozy nap nearby. She would thrive in a home ready for all the fun, love, and energy that come with raising a kitten. Because young kittens do best with companionship and benefit from growing up with another feline friend, Piper should be adopted with another kitten or into a home with a friendly, playful young cat. Piper is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Her mother tested positive for FIV after likely being bitten by an infected cat prior to rescue. While kittens born to an FIV+ mother will almost always test positive for the virus, they are usually only carrying her maternal antibodies, not the virus itself. The vast majority of these kittens will test negative by the time they are 6 months old as their own immune systems mature.
