Hi, I'm Alton! I'm in a great foster home close to PetSmart North Wales. They say cats have nine lives, but for a while there, I wasn't sure I had much of one left. When I first arrived at Stray Cat Blues, I was a tired, broken old soul. My joints ached, my tummy was constantly in knots, and my heart was heavy. Even though I was hurting, I never lost my love for people. I’d lean my shaky frame into every hand that reached for me and offer a raspy little "meow" to let you know I was still in there, just waiting for a little help to find my spark again. Well, thanks to some incredible foster humans and a lot of specialized care, the imPAWssible actually happened! I’ve gone from wobbly on my feet to hopping onto windowsills to watch the birds. I’ve even discovered the simple joy of curling up into a perfect, peaceful ball for a long nap. I’m feeling more like a "resilient gentleman" every single day, and I’m finally ready to start looking for a lap to call my own. I do have some special needs for my forever person to help me with: monthly B12 shots to help me absorb nutrients from food; monthly Solensia shots to help my joints feel good; a daily probiotic and special clay powder to keep my digestive tract healthy; and a heart checkup every now and then to make sure my ticker is working well. It sounds like a lot, but my foster mom says it's actually very simple and she's happy to explain it really well to whoever decides to give me their lap forever.
