Meet Maple! Maple is a sweet and playful 8-week-old kitten with a gentle, curious nature and a growing sense of confidence. She loves exploring her surroundings, batting around toys, and romping with her siblings as she learns about the world around her. This lovely girl has a soft, affectionate side and enjoys quiet moments of attention just as much as playtime. After a busy day of kitten adventures, Maple is happy to curl up nearby for a cozy nap and some reassurance. Maple would thrive in a home ready for the joy and energy of kittenhood, along with patience as she continues to grow and blossom. Because young kittens do best with companionship and develop important social skills from one another, Maple should be adopted with another kitten or into a home with a friendly, playful young cat. Maple is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Her mother tested positive for FIV after likely being bitten by an infected cat prior to rescue. While kittens born to an FIV+ mother will almost always test positive for the virus, they are usually only carrying her maternal antibodies, not the virus itself. The vast majority of these kittens will test negative by the time they are 6 months old as their own immune systems mature.
