About Memphismini Schnauzer
Memphismini Schnauzer has spent the early part of her life as a breeding dog and is just starting to learn what home life is all about. She’s a sensitive, sweet five-and-a-half-year-old Miniature Schnauzer living in Hamburg, NY. Most days she sticks close to her people, rarely barks unless she’s on squirrel watch or if left alone in another room. Sudden noises can make her jumpy, and she’ll bury her head for comfort, revealing a bit of the past she’s working through. While still shy, Memphis shows real affection and has the makings of an excellent lap dog. She enjoys being petted, sleeps well in her crate if someone's nearby, and is doing better every day with house training and leash walks. She’s figured out the basics of yard time and is slowly exploring more independently. Memphis gets along with children over 4 and does fine with other dogs but hasn’t been tested with cats. She needs continued patience and gentle attention as she adjusts to home life. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
