About Miles
Miles is a four-year-old male boxer in Hamburg, NY, looking for his new family after some hard luck with his previous home. He settled into foster care, where it took a little time for him to adjust and work through some initial separation anxiety, but he's come a long way. Now crate trained and happy to follow his foster mom's cues, Miles also gets along well with the two other dogs in his foster home. While he starts off a bit reserved when meeting new people, he quickly warms up and shows his true boxer spirit, complete with wiggles and bows. Miles has good house manners, is fully house trained, and knows to wait his turn around food—although curiosity sometimes gets the best of him. He loves being outdoors, spends time looking for squirrels, and has a playful streak. Leash walks are still a work in progress, and he'll benefit from some continued obedience training to help him shine even more. Miles doesn’t have a history with very young children or cats, but has done well with older kids and other dogs. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccinations, weighs about 75 lbs, and has a fawn coat. If you’re looking for a friendly boxer who’s eager to bond and share his goofy enthusiasm, Miles is ready to meet you. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
