These five retriever puppies came from the same hoarding situation as Canyon, Denali, and Promise. And before everybody starts screaming ‘OMG FLUFFY PUPPIES 😍’ — yes, they are adorable. Absolutely offensively adorable. Tiny fluffy baby bears with floppy ears and puppy eyes powerful enough to make grown adults forget their financial responsibilities. But these babies did not come from a normal start in life. They have spent their lives isolated, exposed to very little outside the property and very few people. Everything is new to them right now — leashes, handling, voices, yards, toys, freedom, kindness. Imagine trying to learn the whole world at once while also being a baby. So we are looking for adopters with patience and realistic expectations. These puppies may be shy at first. They may need time to warm up. Some may cling to one person initially because that’s all they’ve ever known. They are not ‘bad’ puppies. They are puppies learning how to exist outside survival mode. And honestly? Watching scared puppies discover joy for the first time is magic. The first zoomies. The first tail wag. The first time they realize toys are FUN and humans can be safe. That’s the good stuff right there. Underneath the uncertainty are sweet retriever hearts ready to bloom with the right families. They do not need perfection.
