Saffron is a 7-month-old Collie/Cattle Dog mix with the sweetest soul and the gentlest heart. This beautiful girl may be shy at first, but once she feels safe, her loving and affectionate personality starts to shine through. Saffron absolutely blossoms around other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident canine companion to help show her the ropes and continue building her confidence. She takes comfort in having dog friends nearby and truly enjoys their company. She has also been tested around cats and did wonderfully, making her a great candidate for a home with feline siblings. We think Saffron would do best with calmer, respectful children, ideally around age 7 and older, who can understand that she may need a little patience while she settles in. Saffron does very well in her crate and has been a quiet, easy girl while in our care. Because she is currently staying in a boarding facility, we are unsure about her housetraining status at this time. This sweet girl is looking for a patient family willing to give her the love, reassurance, and time she needs to truly come out of her shell.
