Coco deserved so much better than this. Coco is a 4-year-old female pug who came to us from Tijuana, Mexico after losing the only home she had ever known. Her owner moved into a smaller place and, instead of making sure Coco would be safe and cared for, she was given away and nearly left to fend for herself on the streets. Sadly, this happens far too often. Dogs who spend their lives loving their families are abandoned the moment life changes. But Coco still believes in people. She is a sweet, gentle girl who is hoping for a calm, loving forever home where she will never have to wonder if she will be thrown away again. Even after everything, Coco remains trusting, affectionate, and eager to be loved. She deserves a family who will see her as forever — not temporary.
