Kiara deserved so much better than this. Kiara is an 8-year-old female pug who came to us from Tijuana, Mexico after her owner decided she was no longer convenient to keep. When her owner moved into a smaller home, Kiara and the other dogs were simply given away. We were told they were at risk of being abandoned on the streets to survive on their own. After spending her whole life being loyal to someone, Kiara was suddenly left without safety, stability, or love. And yet... she is still so gentle. Kiara is a sweet, calm girl who is looking for a quiet, loving home where she can finally feel secure again. Despite everything she has been through, she still trusts people and just wants to be near someone who will love her forever this time. Can you imagine being discarded after years of devotion, simply because your life became inconvenient to someone else? Kiara deserves better than that.
