Thankfully, a foster stepped up just in time and gave her the second chance she deserved. At around 5 years old and 60 lbs, Biscuit is the perfect companion with a gentle and loving soul. She’s a very shy girl at first, but once she feels safe, she becomes incredibly sweet and affectionate. Biscuit is calm, observant, and happiest in a peaceful environment. Like many dogs rescued from the streets, she will need a patient adopter who understands decompression and is willing to give her the time and space she needs to settle in at her own pace. One thing that truly helps Biscuit feel confident is being around other dogs. She gravitates toward them for comfort and companionship, which is why she would do best in a home with another friendly dog.
