Bambi is a beautiful, spayed 3-year-old Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler mix who, after being found on the streets alongside her mother and brother, is ready for a dedicated and loving home. If you want a best friend who will shower you with devotion, loyalty, and 100% trust, she could be the perfect match. Bambi thrives in a one-on-one relationship with her special human, and responds incredibly well to treat-based training. With her herding breed background, Bambi is playful, loves to fetch, and needs a good amount of daily exercise. She enjoys walks—on or off leash—and prefers to stay close by her human. Bambi is fully house trained both with and without a doggie door, and has shown herself to be an eager companion for hiking and long strolls. She loves fun chase games with the little dogs in her foster home and has learned to get along well with them, though she prefers non-alpha dogs and can sometimes get jealous if others are receiving attention.
