Meet the Belle of the ball!! This fluffy cutie is 5 years old, 18lbs and ready for her new family! She was found as a stray in Houston and made her way up North to find a forever family to crash with:) She's a perfect city dog so far and is a great size and temperament for apartment living, if needed! Her foster Dad says: "Belleville is the kind of dog who makes you feel like the most important person in the world. She is a gentle, shy, sweet, devoted lap dog, She’s a little shy when you first meet her, maybe two minutes of uncertainty, then you’re her person, and she will be at your feet, on your lap, or pressed against your leg for the rest of the day. She goes into the crate just fine initially and stays in there quietly while you are in the room with her. She is food motivated so will eat treats or a Kong in there. She doesn’t need a big house, a yard, fetch, or a packed adventure schedule. She needs you! At the dog park she’ll let other dogs say hello, then drift back to wherever you’re standing. On leash she's excellent- walks nicely, doesn’t pull, and easily corrected. Completely unbothered by city noises on walks (traffic, construction, other dogs, bikes). She’s so great on leash sometimes I forget she’s there! She also is constantly looking up to check in which is so cute. At home she’ll follow you from room to room, content just to be in the same space. She is the perfect antidote to a long day. She’d do best in a home where someone is around most of the time (or could take her with them)!
