Labs love water but NYC heat and humidity cause overheating during exercise. Walk early morning or evening and avoid hot pavement. Carry water on every outing since Labs push through fatigue without slowing down.

Ideal weather for Labrador Retrievers in NYC. Their coat starts thickening for winter. Perfect conditions for long walks along the Hudson River Greenway or runs through Riverside Park.
