Bella is an eight-year-old female Coonhound with a calm nature and a heart that’s seen a lot. After losing her longtime owner, she’s now looking for her next chapter in a loving home. Bella gets along well with other sweet dogs and older kids, and she really flourishes with a canine companion. She does best when someone is home with her most of the time, and she absolutely needs a secure above-ground fenced yard—she likes to make her rounds, greeting visitors and keeping an eye on her territory. Walks, cuddles, and especially being the little spoon are at the top of her list. She’s laid-back, loyal, and gentle, earning respect from both dogs and people around her, and she asks little in return besides steady company and affection.
