Buddy Love was abandoned at a park. Luckily he was found by a very loving couple. They cared for Buddy, got him healthy and have been actively trying to find him a home. Due to their declining health they have been unable to provide for Buddy and knowing committing to him full time was never the plan, they surrendered him to rescue. Buddy Love does great with other dogs his size and even smaller! He has been with dogs as small as yorkies and has done very well. He does great meeting new people and even does well with kids and cats. He is potty trained and loves his crate. He thinks of that as his safe space and goes in his crate on his own when he wants some personal space. He does not like car-rides. We believe he had some trauma involving a car in his past. We are working through this with Buddy but he would not do well as a dog that is expected to travel often.
