Meet Kea — an 8-year-old Chihuahua with a gentle heart who's just waiting for the right person to help her shine. Kea is on the shy and timid side, and new environments can feel a little overwhelming for her at first. She's looking for a calm, patient home with someone who is around more often than not, so she can continue building confidence at her own pace and feel safe and secure. Even in her foster home, Kea has already been making progress every day. While she started out very reserved, she's slowly learning to trust and has begun accepting affection more easily — and has even started seeking out attention on her own. Watching her come out of her shell has been incredibly rewarding. Kea gets along well with other small dogs and cats, and despite her timid nature, she has never shown any aggression toward people. She's simply a sensitive little dog who needs kindness, patience, and understanding. With time, love, and a gentle routine, Kea has the potential to become an incredibly devoted companion. The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you.
