About Bodhi
Bodhi is a 50-pound Black Mouth Cur with plenty of playful energy and a strong, loyal streak. He didn’t have an easy start—abandoned in Miami, left hungry and uncertain, he came to his foster home with almost no experience inside. Over the last few months, though, Bodhi has adapted beautifully. He’s now housebroken, crate-trained, and walks well on leash. Bodhi currently shares his home with two other dogs and gets along with them, though he can be cautious and skittish at first. Give him some time, and you’ll discover his affectionate, goofy side, especially once the treats come out—he’s enthusiastic about food and picks up training quickly. Bodhi loves romping outdoors, has a real zest for adventure, and even enjoys swimming. With his background, he still needs patience and structure, but he’s not aggressive—just tentative with new people or situations. Because he likes to chase cats, a cat-free home is best for him. Bodhi’s looking for an active, stable home able to guide him as he continues to open up. If you’re ready for a loyal sidekick who’s come a long way and is eager to bond, Bodhi might be your ideal match. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
