About Sugar
Sugar is finally ready to move on from her rough start and find a home where she can relax and thrive. Rescued as a puppy along with her mom and siblings from life-threatening conditions, Sugar has grown up safe in a shelter, patiently waiting for her turn. Now about a year and a half old and weighing around 48 pounds, she’s a medium-energy Baladi mix with some Husky in her, blending playfulness and affection in equal measure. She gets along well with other dogs and children and adapts easily to different kinds of families. Sugar doesn’t mind having another dog around but would also do well as your only canine companion. Friendly with people, she has a soft spot for relaxing with her humans and soaks up affection. Just note, she does not get along with cats. She’s spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, ready for adoption in New York, NY. Sugar has been through a lot, but she’s set to bring warmth, love, and easy charm to the right home. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
