Skittles A184229 71 lb. spayed female, approx 2 years old -She started off timid and needed to sniff and explore everything before she relaxed a little -She likes treats, sits and takes them decently. She needs just a little bit of work taking them more easy. -She was initially curious of the toys that I tossed and was smelling them but when I tried to get her to engage in play she almost seemed scared of them -She likes being close for pets but isn't super needy. When she became more comfortable, she was content to push into me for more attention though -She just needs a little bit of time to fully open up and come around -Pulls a bit on walks and is strong -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids *Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt *Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. *Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. *There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. *To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home.
